Special features: This Single Cask Irish Single Malt Whiskey from the Dingle Distillery was exclusively bottled for the German importer Kirsch. After an eight-year maturation in Ireland, it received a special finish in a Cognac cask, which gives it additional fruity freshness and spice. It was bottled at 59.5% ABV, cask strength, not chill-filtered, and without coloring. The bottling took place on September 25, 2023, and a total of 342 bottles were filled.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Waves of honeycomb, orange peel, and syrup, along with figs, mocha, and poached stone fruits, followed by cinnamon and butterscotch.
• Palate: Maritime notes with a hint of seaweed, accompanied by spicy aromas and a fruity sweetness.
• Finish: Long and warming, with a balanced combination of salty and sweet notes.

Distillery/Bottler: The Dingle Distillery, founded in 2012, is located in the picturesque Dingle on the southwest coast of Ireland. In a converted sawmill, the distillery produces only four casks daily, highlighting the quality and craftsmanship of its products. Under the guidance of Master Distiller Graham Coull, it is traditionally triple distilled to create a particularly pure and complex whiskey.
