Special features: This single malt is the first fully in-house production from the Powerscourt Distillery in Enniskerry, County Wicklow. Distilled and aged in the company's own facilities, the whiskey marks a significant milestone—the first time in over 100 years that whiskey has been legally produced in Wicklow. It was matured in ex-bourbon casks, which contributes significantly to the flavor profile.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Toffee, vanilla, apple, pear with hints of leather, cinnamon and nutmeg
- Palate: Creamy vanilla sauce, fine wood, salted caramel and tarte tatin
- Finish: Long-lasting with spicy notes, leather, honey almonds and fruity compote
