This bottling has a new design for the year 2026 and is presented in a tube. The distillate receives a finish in tawny port casks, which shapes its characteristic aromas.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The nose reveals a variety of dark fruits that blend with candied cloves, black currants, licorice, and baking spices.
• Palate: On the palate, it is incredibly fruity with juicy blackberries, currant jam, cherries, and syrupy toffee; behind this, there are noticeable crumble cake with plums and spicy cedar wood.
• Finish: The finish is medium-length and characterized by walnut, golden syrup, cake, and toasted oak.

Distillery/Bottler: The Glencadam Distillery was founded in 1825 in Brechin, Scotland. It is known for using copper pot stills with upwardly inclined lyne arms, which promotes significant reflux and highlights fruity aromas. Additionally, water from Loch Lee is used, which is pumped to the distillery via the River Esk. In 2021, a functioning water wheel, originally used for power generation, was reinstalled.
