Special features: In 2025, the Glengoyne 18 years will be presented in revised packaging that is not only aesthetically pleasing but also sustainably designed. The new outer packaging features a flap cover that reveals a picture by local photographer Richard Fox, capturing the view from the summit of Dumgoyne Hill after opening. Additionally, the packaging is fully recyclable and was produced near the distillery located in the Highlands.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Intense aromas of candied orange peel, accompanied by warm spices such as cinnamon and nutmeg. Dried stone fruits like apricot, peach, and dates add depth, while nutty and malty notes in the background provide complexity.
• Palate: Full-bodied and smooth, the whisky presents notes of delicate vanilla, creamy pudding, and fruity jam. A hint of butter toffee and fine baking spices like gingerbread and cinnamon enhance the tasting experience. The velvety texture is supported by a subtle oak note.
• Finish: The finish is remarkably long and smooth, with delicate caramel notes and a hint of flan. The sweetness gradually fades, making way for a subtle spiciness and pleasant warmth that lingers long after the last sip.

Distillery/Bottler: The Glengoyne Distillery, founded in 1833, is beautifully situated on the border between the Highlands and Lowlands of Scotland. Known for its unpeated and particularly mild single malts, the distillery consciously avoids the use of peat and exclusively uses warm air to dry the malt. Maturation primarily occurs in Oloroso sherry casks, giving the whiskies a natural dark color and complex aromas.
