Under their leadership, the "Glengoyne Way" continued, characterized by a slow distillation process and maturation in sherry casks. This edition combines whiskies that matured in first-fill bourbon and refill sherry casks, reflecting a blend of progressive thinking and respect for tradition.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Aromas of vanilla, banana, maple syrup, peaches, coconut, fruitcake, as well as hints of lime and mint.
- Palate: Creamy and balanced with notes of apple crumble, toast spread with honey, green grapes, and gentle spices.
- Finish: Long and sweet with hints of syrup, sweet oak, and dates.
