The 17-year-old Glenlivet matured exclusively in three first-fill Oloroso sherry butts, giving it exceptional intensity and depth. At 64.7% cask strength, this single malt presents itself in its purest form, unchill-filtered and without coloring. The limited edition comprises just 1,109 bottles worldwide.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Rich dried fruits, roasted nuts and dark chocolate, accompanied by spicy oak and a hint of espresso.
- Palate: Powerful sherry sweetness with notes of dates, figs and walnuts, rounded off by dark chocolate, orange zest and fine oak spice.
- Finish: Long, intense and complex with hints of dark fruit, cocoa and roasted coffee.
