The maturation took place in a 1st Fill Bordeaux red wine cask, which gives the whisky a special depth and complexity. With a limited edition of only 329 bottles, this drop is a true collector's item.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Inviting aromas of cherries, blackberries, and strawberries, accompanied by notes of chocolate, pastry, and a subtle wood spice.
• Palate: Full-bodied with intense wine notes, raisins, again berry fruits, dark chocolate, and malt, complemented by a hint of blueberries. An impression of freshly baked bread with nougat cream, sugary barley malt, and a touch of cinnamon rounds off the tasting experience.
• Finish: Long-lasting, with recurring berry aromas and a subtle hint of cinnamon.

Distillery/Bottler: The Glentauchers Distillery, founded in 1898, is located in the heart of the Scottish Speyside region. Known for its fruity and aromatic whiskies, it makes a significant contribution to blends like Ballantine's. This whisky was bottled by Langatun Distillery AG, a Swiss distillery with over 150 years of tradition. In 2005, Hans Baumberger III revived the vision of his great-grandfather and began producing the handcrafted Langatun single malts.
