Special Features: Green Spot is one of the few Irish whiskeys that comes as a Single Pot Still whiskey from a single distillery. For the “Chateau Léoville Barton” edition, the whiskey undergoes a special finish in French Bordeaux wine casks after traditional aging in bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks. This unique finishing process gives the whiskey an elegant complexity and makes it one of the most innovative variants within the Spot series. The bottling is free of color additives and is chilled filtered.

Distillery/Bottler: The Midleton Distillery in County Cork, Ireland, is known for its long-standing tradition of whiskey production. Since 1887, the family-owned company Mitchell & Son has developed a variety of cask maturations, which were marked with colored “spots” during bottling. The distillery skillfully combines traditional production techniques with modern innovative approaches to create characterful Single Pot Still whiskeys.
