Bottled at cask strength with 52.4% ABV, it is neither chill-filtered nor contains color additives, preserving the authenticity and intensity of the flavor.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Intense aromas of raisins, cherry jam, and plum, accompanied by chocolate, marzipan, and nuts. Light notes of tobacco round off the profile.
- Palate: Rich flavor with plums, sultanas, blackcurrants, and cherries. Spices like cloves and anise complement chocolate and caramel. A light oak note adds structure.
- Finish: Long, harmonious aftertaste with chocolate, spiced fruits, and a sweet note. Coffee aromas complete the experience.
