This single malt whisky is bottled without coloring and without chill filtration, preserving its natural color and aromatic diversity. It matures 70% in bourbon casks and 30% in sherry casks, giving it a balanced complexity.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Dominant oak notes, accompanied by roasted marshmallows and dried fruits, including cherries and marzipan, as well as a hint of peat smoke.
• Palate: Fruity with citrus notes and orange peel, followed by vanilla, butterscotch, honeycomb, and biscuit notes.
• Finish: Soft and mild with notes of lemon meringue, an oily texture, and a subtle saltiness typical of a Campbeltown whisky.

Distillery/Bottler: The Glengyle Distillery, founded in 1872 by William Mitchell, was reopened in 2004 after nearly 80 years. Under the brand name Kilkerran, handcrafted single malts are produced here that reinterpret the traditional Campbeltown style: slightly peaty, oily, maritime, and always with balanced sweetness.
