Legent Bourbon
Special features: The Legent Bourbon is the result of an extraordinary collaboration between Fred Noe, the seventh Master Distiller of Jim Beam, and Shinji Fukuyo, the fifth Chief Blender of Suntory. This Kentucky Straight Bourbon initially matures for at least four years in freshly charred white oak barrels and is then finished in red wine and sherry casks, giving it a unique depth and complexity.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Full and intense with aromas of oak, caramel, and vanilla, accompanied by fruity sherry notes.
- Palate: Warming with notes of raisins and dried dates, sweet and fruity with a hint of dark chocolate and spices.
- Finish: Long and warm with soft oak notes.
Distillery/Bottler: The Legent Bourbon is bottled by Beam Suntory, a merger of the two traditional distilleries Jim Beam and Suntory. This collaboration combines over 200 years of experience in whiskey production and merges the best traditions of both cultures.
