Redbreast Lustau Edition Sherry Finish
Volume: 0.7 liters | Alcohol content: 46% | Non-chill-filtered | With color
Description
Redbreast whiskeys are venerable representatives of the traditional single pot still Irish whiskeys. Neither a blend nor a single malt, distillates from this complex Irish category are produced in a single distillery from malted and unmalted barley, distilled in a traditional copper pot still. As is typical of the Irish style, the Midleton Distillery also passes its vapors through the pot still three times. The result: the wonderfully mild, aromatic Redbreast spirit.
Redbreast Lustau takes its name from the Spanish Bodega Lustau, where the Oloroso Sherry Casks used to mature the Irish Whiskey come from. Their effect? An added complexity with sweet sherry notes, apricots, cinnamon, and nuts.
