Special features: This limited single cask bottling was distilled from heavily peated barley malt with a phenol content of 135 ppm and matured for five years in a 500-liter Oloroso sherry butt made of American white oak. Bottled at 59.7% vol. The bottling is limited to 790 bottles.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Intense peat smoke permeates the air, accompanied by fruity notes of sultanas, dried apricots, and dates, as well as ripe sherry aromas, a hint of dark chocolate, and fine nut notes.
• Palate: A powerful interplay of peat fire and spicy oak notes, supported by the creamy sweetness of light dried fruits that have been soaked in Oloroso sherry. Delicate toffee, bittersweet chocolate, and ashy smoke add depth and complexity.
• Finish: Long-lasting with a multi-layered combination of creamy dried fruits and ashy smoke, accompanied by dry oak spice and fine chocolate pieces.

Distillery/Bottler: St. Kilian Distillers was founded in 2012 in Rüdenau in Franconia and produces in the pot still method according to Scottish tradition. The first distillation took place in 2016, and the resulting whisky was bottled in 2019 as "German Single Malt Whisky." Despite its young age, the distillery has already received several awards for its whiskies, underscoring the high quality of its products.
