Distillery/Bottler: Croftengea is a characterful peated whisky from the Loch Lomond Distillery. It is located in Alexandria, at the southern end of the eponymous loch in Scotland. Founded in 1966 and reopened in 1987 by the long-established Bulloch family after closing in 1984, the distillery is distinguished by its unique combination of malt and grain production on one site. The technical versatility, with various pot still types and Coffey stills, enables extraordinary whisky variations. A wide variety of characters are produced here under several names, including Croftengea.
