Special features: This single cask bottling comes from cask number CM 256 and was distilled in July 2007 before being bottled in February 2020. With only 276 bottles limited, the Linkwood 12 Years impresses with its high alcohol content of 56%, unfiltered and uncolored, which excellently preserves the original character profile.

Tasting Notes:

  • Nose: Fruity hints with notes of ripe apples and pears, accompanied by delicate spices and a floral touch.
  • Palate: Strong and complex, with flavors of honey, vanilla, and a hint of nutty maltiness along with fine oak notes.
  • Finish: Long-lasting and warming, the finish reveals a beautiful balance between spice and fruity sweetness.

Distillery/Bottler: The Linkwood Distillery, founded in 1821 near Elgin, is known for its malty and elegant Scotch whisky. The site includes both modern production facilities and historic warehouses, set in a park-like environment. The distillery uses the water from the Burn of Linkwood for production. Since the 1980s, Linkwood has been part of Diageo, combining tradition with contemporary production techniques.
