Distillery/Bottler: Macduff is located in Banffshire in the Scottish Highlands, on the opposite bank of the River Deveron. Founded in 1962, the distillery quickly evolved through innovative techniques, being the first Scottish distillery with metal mash tuns and steam-heated stills. Today, Macduff is part of the Bacardi Group. A large part of the production is used for blended whiskies, but with its own single cask bottlings, the distillery shows a particularly characterful side.
