The Hearach Harris Single Malt without GP
Special features: The Hearach is the first single malt whisky from the Isle of Harris Distillery, distilled and bottled by Isle of Harris Distillers Ltd. This whisky has an alcohol content of 46% vol. and is not chill-filtered. The maturation takes place in selected first-fill ex-bourbon casks as well as Oloroso and Fino sherry casks, resulting in a complex aroma.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: On the nose, the whisky presents itself mild, with a hint of smoke, fresh with herbs, and a fine accent of sea and fruits.
- Palate: On the palate, there is a subtle smokiness, accompanied by fresh fruitiness, mild and balanced.
- Finish: The finish is pleasantly dry and allows subtle fruit aromas to shine through again.
