Special features: The Woodpecker & The Leprechaun Applewood Finish is an exceptional Irish single malt, bottled after six years of maturation – initially five years in first-fill ex-bourbon casks from the Great Northern Distillery and then 12 months in a handcrafted virgin applewood cask. This limited edition comprises just 64 bottles at a powerful 56.6% ABV and is dispensed with color and chill filtration to preserve its raw character. Part of an innovative series that uses various virgin wood finishes to explore the influence of different wood types on aroma and flavor.

The bottlings come from the Great Northern Distillery in Ireland, a young, innovative distillery that stands for modern interpretations of Irish whiskeys. The collaboration between connoisseurs and artisans creates a successful blend of tradition and experimentation.
