Volume: 0.7 liters | Alcohol content: 40% | Not chill-filtered | No coloring
Special features: This whiskey is the result of a unique collaboration between West Cork Distillers and Thin Lizzy members Scott Gorham and Brian Downey, as well as the family of the late frontman Phil Lynott. The triple distillation and aging in ex-bourbon casks give it a special depth and complexity. A distinctive feature is the double charring of the oak barrels, which imparts a subtle smoky note to the whiskey. Additionally, the label features a piece of artwork by renowned artist Jim Fitzpatrick, known for his iconic album covers for Thin Lizzy.
Tasting Notes:
Distillery/Bottler: West Cork Distillers, founded in 2003 by three childhood friends, are an independent distillery in the west of Ireland. They produce a variety of spirits, including whiskey, gin, and vodka, and have made a name for themselves through their artisanal quality.
