Special features: This limited blended whisky from New Zealand carefully combines selected malt whiskies that mature in two different types of casks: European oak casks, which previously held New Zealand red wine, and classic bourbon casks. The small craft distillery of Mathew and Rachael Thomson on the South Island has been focusing on regional ingredients since 2014 and experimenting with smoky notes influenced by peat and Manuka wood.
