Turntable x Starward – Collaboration Drop 01

Special features: This first release of the new series "Collaborations" brings together the innovative Scottish blending house Turntable with the progressive Australian distillery Starward. By combining Starward Single Malt, Caol Ila Single Malt, Inchgower Single Malt, and North British Single Grain, a unique blended whisky is created that highlights the character of the Australian Single Malt from Melbourne matured in red wine casks while also leading into new dimensions.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Campfire notes with a maritime sea breeze, accompanied by hints of red berries, spices, and a touch of coconut as well as cigar box aromas.
• Palate: Combines the sweetness of red berries with the spiciness of cigar boxes and a hint of coconut.
• Finish: Long and smoky, with a salty sea breeze and a touch of campfire.

Distillery/Bottler: Turntable Blending House was founded in 2023 by brothers Alasdair “Ally” and Gordon Stevenson. They aim to give blended whisky a strong voice with perfectionism and transparency, breaking conventional expectations. To achieve this, they combine high-quality whiskies from fine casks and encourage a rethinking of Scotch through a musical experience.
