Special features: This premium Tennessee whiskey honors the legend Nearest Green, the first known African American master distiller. The distillery uses the traditional “Lincoln County Process,” where the whiskey is filtered through maple charcoal – a crucial step that ensures the characteristically smooth and pure taste. Since 2021, the distillery has exclusively worked with its own stocks, without outside purchases. The bottlings are produced under the guidance of Victoria Eady Butler, a descendant of Nearest Green.
