Special features: Limited special bottling of 1823 bottles. The Oude Genever aged for five years in selected Oloroso Sherry casks, giving it impressive complexity and depth. The traditional family distillery Zuidam relies on artisanal expertise and locally grown grains for its characterful distillates.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Balanced, fresh, and fruity with subtle notes of sultanas, dried fruits, as well as the vibrant freshness of lemons and limes.
- Palate: Rich and complex, characterized by chocolate-covered raisins, roasted hazelnuts, as well as stewed apples and peaches.
- Finish: Medium-long, accompanied by aromas of dried fruits and a pleasant honey sweetness.

The distillery combines traditional production methods with regional grain cultivation to produce characterful Genever and Single Malts.
