Zuidam Cherry Liqueur
Special features: This noble cherry liqueur is produced in the renowned Zuidam Distillery in the Netherlands. It is based on a carefully selected cherry extract and French Eau de Vie. The cherries are macerated in pure grain alcohol for a period of more than a month to fully extract the delicate aromas. After separating the pulp, the extract is gently pressed in a traditional wooden press, resulting in a dark red, aromatic cherry liqueur. This contains no added flavors, colors, or taste enhancers.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Intense cherry aroma with fine, fruity notes.
Palate: Full-bodied and sweet, with clear cherry presence and delicate almond notes.
Finish: Long and extremely fruity, with a pleasant aftertaste.
Distillery/Bottler: Zuidam Distillers is one of the last independent distilleries in the Netherlands that still produces and processes all its distillates and extracts in a traditional manner within its own family business. It produces Jenevers, Korenwijnen, and numerous other distillates for every occasion and taste.
