Special features: This Genever is distilled 100% from rye, with a blend of malted and unmalted rye providing a balanced complexity. After triple distillation in small copper pot stills, the Genever matures for one year in new American oak barrels, adding extra depth. Before bottling, selected herbs and spices, including juniper, licorice, and anise, are added and the Genever is distilled again. This combination of traditional production and innovative methods makes Zuidam Rye Genever a special specialty.

Distillery/Bottler: Zuidam Distillers is one of the last independent distilleries in the Netherlands that still produces its distillates and extracts traditionally in a family business. Known for its artisanal quality, the distillery has been producing a variety of spirits since 1974, including Genever, Korenwijn, and liqueurs. The recipes are developed in close collaboration between Fred van Zuidam and his son Patrick, viewing flavors as colors that must together create a harmonious picture.
