Special Features:

This limited single-cask bottling matured for eleven years in first-fill Oloroso sherry butt no. 2. The spirit was distilled on 2 June 2014 before Signatory Vintage bottled the whisky on 5 May 2026 at 59.3% as part of the Cask Strength Collection. The cask yielded 663 bottles. The whisky is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring.

The sensory profile is shaped by sherry, honey, dark fruit, raisins, figs and orange. Caramel, dark chocolate and nuts complement the fruit, while spices, cocoa and spicy oak give the profile structure.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: On the nose, sherry, honey and vanilla combine with dark fruit and nuts.
• Palate: The whisky is full-bodied on the palate, with raisins, smooth caramel and dark chocolate accompanied by complex spices.
• Finish: The medium-length finish brings together nuts, cocoa and spicy oak with honey.

Distillery/Bottler:

Aberfeldy Distillery began production in 1898. John Alexander and Tommy Dewar had it built to supply the principal malt whisky for Dewar’s blends. To this day, the distillery draws its water from the Pitilie Burn.

Signatory Vintage is an independent bottler founded in 1988 by Andrew Symington and his brother. By 2007, the company had moved its entire operation to the grounds of Edradour Distillery in Pitlochry. For this bottling, Signatory Vintage released the Aberfeldy matured in butt no. 2 as a single cask in the Cask Strength Collection.
