Applaus Stuttgart Dry Gin brings together classic juniper notes, fresh rosemary, cinnamon and citrus fruit. The recipe includes 24 botanicals. The gin is bottled at 43%; each batch yields 408 numbered bottles, filled by hand.

The design draws on the style of the 1920s. Horses and female circus performers on the pink-and-blue label, together with a neck tag shaped like an admission ticket, convey the circus theme. A wooden closure completes the clear bottle.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Juniper remains subtle on the nose. Rosemary and thyme mingle with delicate cinnamon and a fresh blood orange note.
• Palate: Juniper is more pronounced on the palate, accompanied by herbs and citrus freshness. Ginger, nutmeg, coriander and cinnamon add layers of spice.
• Finish: Herbal freshness persists through the balanced, spicy finish, with a subtle lingering note of citrus fruit.

Distillery/Bottler:

Applaus is the creation of Süddeutsche Spirituosen Loge in Stuttgart. The gin is distilled at Dr. Dr. Hans-Otto Frey's distillery in Wolfschlugen. Hans-Otto and Phillipp Frey are involved in developing the recipe and work at the copper still. Natural botanicals and gentle processing underpin production.
