Special features: The Ardbeg 10 yo is considered the flagship of the historic distillery on Islay. It is matured in carefully selected single- or double-filled bourbon casks, which give the whisky its complex and diverse characteristics. After a period of uncertainty in the 1980s and 1990s, Ardbeg has made an impressive comeback since its acquisition by the Glenmorangie Company in 1997 and today enjoys cult status among whisky enthusiasts.
