Special features: On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Ardbeg Committees in 2025, the Ardbeg Distillery presents the Smokiverse. This limited single malt whisky was produced using the innovative "High Gravity Mashing" method, which increased the proportion of malted barley to enhance the intensity of fruity aromas. After distillation, the whisky matured in former bourbon casks, contributing to a complex flavor development.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: An intense fruit cocktail with notes of smoked gum, ripe barley, and freshly baked sourdough bread. A splash of water reveals sweet, aromatic peat smoke, accompanied by gently smoked tropical fruits.
• Palate: A lush, creamy texture that transitions into bold, resinous flavors of tar, anise, and cloves. This is softened by the distinctive sweetness of brown cane sugar, complemented by woody notes of sweet oak and leather.
• Finish: A long-lasting, earthy peat flavor reminiscent of fresh peat bales, followed by the embers of a campfire and a hint of charcoal.
