Special Features:

This unpeated Ardmore malt, known as Ardlair, matured for 15 years in refill Oloroso sherry butt #900036. It is part of Signatory Vintage’s Cask Strength Collection and was bottled at cask strength in 2026 at 64%.

It was distilled on 27 January 2011 and bottled on 16 March 2026. The single cask yielded 287 bottles.

Its aromas combine honey, dark dried fruit and nutty notes with sherry, vanilla and oak. Ginger, nutmeg and subtle sweetness shape the long finish.

The whisky is presented in a 0.7-litre bottle with a metal tin. It is non-chill-filtered and contains no colouring.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: On the nose, delicate honey combines with dark dried fruit.
• Palate: On the palate, sherry, vanilla and oak emerge with a dense, clearly defined texture.
• Finish: Ginger and nutmeg linger through the long finish, accompanied by subtle sweetness.

Distillery/Bottler:

Ardlair is the name given to the unpeated spirit from Ardmore Distillery. For this release, independent bottler Signatory Vintage selected the cask and bottled the whisky.

Andrew Symington founded Signatory Vintage with his brother in 1988. The company acquired Edradour Distillery in 2002 and had transferred all its operations to Pitlochry by 2007.
