This single-cask release presents Ardmore after 13 years of maturation in American Standard Barrel 100804029. The whisky was distilled on 13 July 2010 and bottled on 11 January 2024 in an edition of 209 bottles. It was bottled at 53.7% ABV, at natural colour and without chill filtration. Each bottle contains 0.7 litres.

Ardmore's peat smoke remains distinct without becoming one-dimensional. Vanilla, citrus and apple shape the opening, while creamy malt and honey form the heart of the profile. Smoke, spice and a soft texture lead into the long finish.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: On the nose, delicate peat smoke meets sweet vanilla, citrus and a hint of apple.
• Palate: The whisky is creamy and malty on the palate, accompanied by honeyed sweetness, fruit and a light smoky note.
• Finish: The long finish is smoky-sweet and spicy, fading with a creamy note.

Distillery/Bottler:

Ardmore Distillery produced the smoky Highland single malt, and The Single Malts of Scotland bottled the whisky from Barrel 100804029. The distillery stands near Kennethmont at an elevation of around 600 feet, at the highest point of the northern railway line. It continues to draw its water from natural springs on the 1,500-foot Knockandy Hill.
