Tasting Notes:
- Nose: The nose reveals vibrant notes of juicy peach and apricot, accompanied by honeydew melon and waxed lemon peels. It is very fruity, with hints of biscuit and frangipane.
- Palate: On the palate, gentle layers of soft stone fruits unfold, including juicy apricot and vanilla cream, complemented by candied lime and a selection of tropical fruits.
- Finish: The finish shows spicy oak, crème fraîche, butter cookies, plums, peach candies, and puff pastry.
Distillery/Bottler: Master of Malt was founded in 1985 and has established itself as an independent bottler by acquiring selected casks from various distilleries and bottling them under its own name. Master of Malt's philosophy often includes cask strength and avoiding color and chill filters. Sam Simmons, the Head of Whisky at Master of Malt, selected this bottling, which will be available in March 2026.
