BACARDÍ Razz combines white rum with natural raspberry flavour. Raspberry takes centre stage in this bottling developed for mixing. Combine it with lemonade for a simple long drink, or use it in fruity cocktails. The bottle contains 0.7 litres at 32% alcohol.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Raspberries, blackberries, strawberries and blackcurrants unfold on the nose. The fruit feels sweet and creamy, almost milky. Rock sugar and vanilla become more pronounced over time.
• Palate: On the palate, the berry fruit opens with a pronounced, spicy alcoholic attack and a tingling sensation on the tongue. A creamy berry impression quickly follows, bringing sweetness and a small touch of vanilla. Gradually, the flavour becomes reminiscent of cranberry juice.
• Finish: The finish feels light and leaves a delicate cherry lollipop note.

Distillery/Bottler:

The story of BACARDÍ began in Santiago de Cuba in 1862. Don Facundo Bacardí Massó bought a small distillery there and worked on a lighter, smoother style of rum. The bat emblem originated with his wife, Doña Amalia: after discovering bats in the roof timbers, she suggested using them as the brand's symbol.

The company later established production sites in Mexico and Puerto Rico. The distillery in Cataño remains an important location for the brand. When its Cuban operations were expropriated in 1960, BACARDÍ was able to continue operating outside Cuba; its trademark rights and yeast strain had already been moved abroad.
