Special features: The Bally 12 Year Pyramid is a noble Rhum Agricole from Martinique, aged in oak barrels and bottled in the distinctive pyramid bottle designed by Jacques Bally in 1930.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Intense aromas of cinnamon and vanilla, accompanied by sweet notes of caramel and hazelnut, as well as a hint of coffee, leather, and pipe tobacco.
- Palate: Dry and spicy with grassy, earthy undertones.
- Finish: Silky smooth and warm.
Distillery/Bottler: The J. Bally Distillery, founded in 1935 in Martinique, is known for its traditional production methods and the use of sugarcane juice from its own plantation. Although the distillery was closed in 1989, distillation and aging continue at the Saint James Distillery.
