Distillery/Bottler: The Balvenie Distillery was founded in 1892 by William Grant in Dufftown, Scotland, and is known for its artisanal production of single malt whiskies. It is one of the few distilleries that still has its own malting floors, a cooperage, and its own barley cultivation. David C. Stewart MBE, the Malt Master of Balvenie, has been with the company since 1962 and was honored in 2016 for his contributions to the Scottish whisky industry.
