The Peated Cask Matured edition draws on the traditional smoky Scotch style: peat was once a widely used fuel, so smoke shaped the character of many Scottish whiskies. Here, smoky and sooty impressions contrast with a fruity side without overshadowing its character.

The blend brings together several Scottish single malts. The whisky is bottled at 44.2% in 0.7-litre bottles. It is neither chill-filtered nor coloured.

Berry Bros. & Rudd is a family-owned London wine and spirits merchant whose roots date back to 1698. That year, the widow Bourne opened a shop at 3 St James’s Street selling groceries and colonial goods, including tea, spices and coffee. Wine and spirits became increasingly important over time. The company has also released spirits under its own name since the early 19th century, making it one of Britain’s oldest independent bottlers.

Cask selection is central to this work. The spirits team tastes and selects whiskies for their character and maturity; great age alone is not the objective. The Classic Range makes different regional profiles and cask styles accessible. Berry Bros. & Rudd acts as the independent bottler for this blended malt.
