Tasting Notes:

  • Nose: Sweet malt aroma, toffee apple, and mild tobacco.
  • Palate: Forest fruits, buttery malt flavor, and floral honey notes.
  • Finish: Oily, creamy grain flavor with lingering berry notes.

Distillery/Bottler: The Braeval Distillery, also known as Braes of Glenlivet, was founded in 1973 by Chivas Brothers and is located at an altitude of 350 meters in the Scottish Highlands. It is known for its light and floral single malts. Murray McDavid, the independent bottler of this whisky, was founded in 1994 and specializes in maturation in exceptional casks.
