Tasting Notes:
Nose: Inviting aromas of exotic fruits such as ripe banana, guava, mango, and peach, accompanied by a slight spiciness and a hint of sea breeze.
Palate: Soft and complex flavor notes of caramelized brown sugar, earthy oak, a pinch of ash, salted caramel, and chocolate-ginger cookies.
Finish: A long-lasting, satisfying aftertaste that harmoniously unites the previously experienced aromas.
Distillery/Bottler: Bunnahabhain, which means "river mouth" in Gaelic, is located on the northern east coast of the Isle of Islay. Unlike many Islay distilleries, Bunnahabhain predominantly produces unpeated whisky, known for its fruity and maritime aromas. Signatory Vintage is an independent bottler known for selecting and bottling high-quality single casks.
