Special Features:

This Cameronbridge matured entirely in second-fill sherry hogshead 354883/2010. It was distilled on 20 May 2010 and bottled after 15 years on 22 January 2026 by Brave New Spirits for the Cask Masters range. The single cask yielded 304 individually numbered bottles at 51.8%. The whisky is non-chill-filtered, contains no added colouring and is offered in 0.7-litre bottles.

The second-fill cask complements the soft grain character without overwhelming it with sherry: light fruit and cereal sweetness meet vanilla and creamy caramel, while dried fruit, nutty notes, subtle sherry sweetness and oak provide restrained accents. The whisky therefore remains soft and rounded as the cask contributes additional structure.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Light fruit notes rest above a sweet malty note. Vanilla and creamy caramel follow, while sherry and oak spice remain subtle in the background.
• Palate: Cereal sweetness and vanilla define the soft, rounded palate. Dried fruit and delicate nuttiness complete the profile, while oak provides structure.
• Finish: Cereal sweetness and vanilla linger in the finish, accompanied by a subtle sherry accent.

Distillery/Bottler:

Cameronbridge is located in the Scottish county of Fife. The distillery produces Single Grain whisky that is used in Johnnie Walker, among other blends; Smirnoff, Gordon’s and Tanqueray are also produced at the same site. Process water comes from boreholes along the River Leven and is treated on site.

Brave New Spirits is an independent bottler based in Glasgow. Its Cask Masters range focuses on the influence of selected single casks; each bottle is individually numbered and states the age, cask type and bottling details. This Cameronbridge belongs to the Golden-Proof line, in which a strength of around 50% is intended to emphasise balance and flavour rather than focusing solely on cask strength.
