Special Features:

This ten-year-old Cardhu is a single-cask bottling from refill hogshead #1132. Distilled on 26 January 2016, it matured in this cask for ten years.

Signatory Vintage bottled the whisky on 25 June 2026 at 58.4% for the Cask Strength Collection, yielding a total of 318 numbered bottles. The 0.7-litre bottling is non-chill-filtered and contains no added colouring.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Malt and cereal form the foundation on the nose. They are joined by honey, vanilla, ripe apples and other light-coloured fruits, accompanied by subtle oak spice.
• Palate: Powerful and full-bodied, the whisky combines sweet malt with honey, vanilla and ripe fruit. Delicate spice and subtle oak complement the palate.
• Finish: Malty sweetness, fruit and delicate spice define the long, warming finish before the oak lingers dryly.

Distillery/Bottler:

Cardhu Distillery is located in Knockando in Scotland’s Speyside region. Its roots go back to a small operation established by John and Helen Cumming in 1811; whisky has officially been produced there since 1824. Their daughter-in-law Elizabeth later had a new distillery built and protected the Cardhu name as a trademark.

Part of Cardhu’s fruity house style is already shaped during the preparation and fermentation of the mash. Water from the springs on Mannoch Hill and the Lyne Burn is combined with lightly peated barley malt, followed by fermentation lasting around 75 hours.

As an independent bottler, Signatory Vintage works with selected single casks from individual Scottish distilleries. Bottling these casks separately preserves their distinctive colour and individual aromatic character. For this release, Signatory selected refill hogshead #1132, which contained Cardhu.
