Cartron - Creme de Peche
Special features: The Crème de Pêche de Vigne by Joseph Cartron is a fruity liqueur from France, produced in Nuits-Saint-Georges, Burgundy. Joseph Cartron, a family business since 1882, uses up to 70% of the required fruits from the Burgundy region for its high-quality fruit liqueurs. For the Crème de Pêche de Vigne, fully ripe peaches are macerated in neutral sugar beet brandy for 10 to 12 weeks. After settling and filtering, slowly crystallized sugar is added. The alcohol content is 18% and the color is natural.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: The aroma is pure, open, and develops with a very elegant note of fresh fruit.
- Palate: The taste is round, full, and has a rich texture, with very good persistence between 10 and 15 seconds.
- Finish: The finish is long-lasting, with the flavors of fresh peach remaining.
Distillery/Bottler: Joseph Cartron is known for producing high-quality fruit liqueurs and specializes in using regional fruits. The family business macerates the fully ripe peaches in neutral sugar beet brandy for 10 to 12 weeks at room temperature in stainless steel tanks. After maceration, the liquid is settled and filtered before slowly crystallized sugar is added. This guarantees the preservation of the fruity and natural aromas of the liqueur.
