Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The aroma is open and intense. Lychee stands clearly at the forefront, accompanied by gentle sweet nuances.
• Palate: The liqueur opens softly and gently on the palate.
• Finish: The fruity flavour lingers on the finish, joined by floral notes reminiscent of wilted roses.

Distillery/Bottler:

Joseph Cartron has been rooted in Nuits-Saint-Georges in Burgundy since 1882. Judith Cartron represents the fifth generation at the helm of the house. Alongside liqueurs, the range includes fruit crèmes, fruit brandies and Burgundian specialities such as Marc and Fine de Bourgogne.

Selecting specific fruit varieties is an important part of the house’s work. Its blackcurrant crèmes, for example, use Noir de Bourgogne, while other products use ingredients including apricots from the Monts du Lyonnais and melons from Cavaillon. Long-standing relationships with fruit growers and distillers support this sourcing. When developing new liqueurs, recipes and blends are refined through tasting. The lychee liqueur adds an exotic fruit to the range.
