Special features: The Daftmill 2011/2026 is a 15-year-old single malt whisky from the Lowlands region of Scotland. This original bottling will be released in 2026 and has an alcohol content of 56.3%. The whisky is non-peated and has matured in first-fill ex-bourbon casks. Additionally, the product is offered without special packaging and has a volume of 700 ml.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The nose shows fresh citrus notes of lemon peel and lemon cream, accompanied by vanilla cream and sweet pastry reminiscent of lemon meringue pie.
• Palate: On the palate, the whisky presents itself rich and rounded with a soft caramel note, vanilla, and vibrant citrus fruits. The first-fill bourbon casks add depth and texture, while the characteristic fresh, grassy character of Daftmill is preserved.
• Finish: The finish is long, refined, and beautifully balanced, with lingering citrus oils, gentle oak spices, and delicate sweetness.

Distillery/Bottler: The Daftmill Distillery was founded in 2005 by brothers Francis and Ian Cuthbert and is located on the family farm in Fife, Scotland. The distillery uses its own farm-grown malt and water from an artesian spring for whisky production. It produces seasonally to avoid disrupting the farm's agricultural activities and uses copper pot stills from Forsyths. The Daftmill 2011/2026 has matured in 17 first-fill ex-bourbon casks and will be bottled in June 2026.
