Special features: This limited single cask bottling from Speyside comes from a butt cask numbered 300548 and was released exclusively for Kirsch Import by Elixir Distillers under the renowned series The Single Malts of Scotland. The 11-year-old Dailuaine is presented in a small batch of only 563 bottles – a rare representative of its distillery, as only about two percent of the whiskies from this distillery are marketed as single malts.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Spicy notes with a subtle sweetness, characterized by ripe fruits and a light maltiness.
Palate: Dense, full-bodied texture with pronounced sweetness and peppery accents, accompanied by fine herbs and vanilla.
Finish: Long-lasting and warming with a pleasant spiciness and slightly smoky nuances.
Distillery/Bottler: The Dailuaine distillery is located in the heart of Speyside and is known for its heavier, sweet-spicy single malts, which occupy a distinct position compared to other distilleries in the region. Elixir Distillers, the independent bottler behind The Single Malts of Scotland, has been dedicated to the careful selection and presentation of exceptional cask bottlings from all Scottish whisky regions since 2002.
