This vintage Armagnac from Domaine de Baraillon combines thirteen years of maturation with a distinctly fruity and floral character. The spirit was distilled in 2012 and bottled in 2025 as an official bottling at 49%. Subtle cocoa and tea accents complement the fruit, while the spice carries through into the long finish.

The Armagnac is bottled without added colouring. The bottle contains 0.7 litres and comes in a wooden box.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: On the nose, the ripe fruit notes are gentle and balanced. Delicate floral aromas, subtle spice and a light sweetness accompany them, with fine cocoa nuances completing the bouquet.
• Palate: On the palate, the fruit comes through intensely, accompanied by a pronounced floral note. Gentle spice, light sweetness and subtle tea notes complement the flavour.
• Finish: The long, layered finish brings lingering fruity, floral and spicy impressions together.

Distillery/Bottler:

Domaine de Baraillon is located in Lannemaignan in Bas-Armagnac, on the border between the French departments of Gers and Landes. The Claverie family has managed the estate since 1748. Its approximately 20 hectares of vineyards grow on sandy-clay soils known in the region as Sables fauves. The grape varieties grown include Folle Blanche, Colombard and Baco.

The estate's production methods include distillation to approximately 52% alcohol. The Armagnacs then mature in local oak casks in the estate's old cellars. Both the vineyards and the local oak casks thus shape production at Baraillon.
