This vintage Armagnac from Domaine de Baraillon combines twelve years of maturation with a fruit-led, velvety character. Distilled in 2013, it was bottled in 2025 at 46% as an official bottling. The 0.7-litre bottle comes in a wooden box.

Its mahogany colour is achieved without added colouring. Dark fruit and vanilla shape its sensory character, while spicy and woody notes provide a counterpoint to the sweetness.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The nose reveals ripe blackberries, cherries and figs. Delicate vanilla and spicy notes complement the fruit aromas.
• Palate: The Armagnac is soft and full-bodied on the palate. Sweet vanilla and dark fruit combine with a velvety texture.
• Finish: The medium-length finish leaves a lingering woody note and a hint of sweetness.

Distillery/Bottler:

Domaine de Baraillon, run by SCEA Claverie, is located in Lannemaignan in Bas-Armagnac, on the border between Gers and Landes. The same family has farmed the estate since 1748. Its approximately 20 hectares of vineyards lie on sandy clay soils known as Sables fauves. The grape varieties grown are Folle Blanche, Colombard and Baco.

The estate uses traditional Armagnac distillation, producing a spirit at approximately 52%. The spirits then mature in casks made from local oak in the estate’s historic cellars.
