Special features: This limited single malt whisky from the renowned Edradour Distillery was distilled in 2012 and matured for 13 years in a first-fill Pinot Noir cask from the esteemed winery St. Michael Eppan in South Tyrol. Bottled in June 2025, only 840 bottles of this unique release were produced.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Aromas of wild strawberries, raspberry puree, and rose petals, accompanied by notes of polished oak, nutmeg, and delicate herbs.
- Palate: Silky and complex with flavor notes of red berries, cherry liqueur, and cranberry, blended with hints of dark chocolate, baking spices, and a gentle earthiness.
- Finish: Elegant and dry, with lingering notes of red grape tannins, cloves, and subtle oak spice.
Distillery/Bottler: The Edradour Distillery, founded in 1825, is one of the most traditional distilleries in Scotland and was once the smallest in the country. It is picturesque located by the Edradour River, surrounded by hills east of Pitlochry. Edradour produces exceptional Highland single malt whiskies that are valued for their depth and complexity.
