Edradour 2014/2026 - 11 y.o. - 1st Fill PX Sherry Casks - 200th Anniversary

Special features: On the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the Edradour Distillery, this 11-year-old single malt is presented, distilled in August 2014 and bottled in January 2026. The maturation in first-fill Pedro-Ximénez sherry casks gives it a deep, sweet complexity. Bottled at natural cask strength of 46% vol.

Tasting Notes:

  • Nose: Intense aromas of raisin syrup, figs, and dark chocolate, accompanied by notes of syrup, espresso, and polished oak.
  • Palate: Full-bodied and decadent, with rich PX sweetness, molasses, and cooked fruits, balanced by Edradour's earthy malt and warming spices.
  • Finish: Long, rich, and lingering, with notes of fruitcake, cocoa powder, and dark sherry sweetness.

Distillery/Bottler: The Edradour Distillery, founded in 1825, is known for its traditional production methods and its position as one of the smallest distilleries in Scotland. It produces single malts in small batches that are valued for their quality and authenticity.
