Special features: The Elephant German Sloe Gin combines the characteristic flavor of Elephant London Dry Gin with the typical aroma of fresh sloes. The hand-picked sloe berries are harvested after the first frost to reduce their bitterness and are then macerated in London Dry Gin. This process gives the Sloe Gin a balanced, fruity-sweet bouquet and a warm, reddish color. Compared to other Sloe Gins, this one is distinguished by a higher alcohol content of 35% and a lower sugar content, making it ideal for cocktail preparation. Each bottle is adorned with a handmade glass bead ribbon made by Maasai women in Kenya, which can be used as a bracelet or necklace. Additionally, 15% of the profits from each bottle go towards the protection of the African elephant.
