Special Features:

The port wine cask finish gives EMILL Feinwerk its vinous accent. This Black Forest single malt is mahogany-coloured with a copper sheen. Dark fruit and a delicate note of smoke on the nose lead to a soft palate shaped by mature port wine and a long, dry finish.

The miniature contains 0.05 litres of whisky at 42% alcohol and comes in gift packaging. The whisky is not chill-filtered and contains no added colouring.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The nose brings plum and blueberry with dry nuances, a hint of vanilla and delicate, sweet smoke.
• Palate: The whisky feels soft and balanced on the palate, with mature port wine shaping the flavour.
• Finish: The whisky becomes fuller and more intense on the finish. Brandy notes accompany the fruit and delicate smoke, leaving a long, dry aftertaste.

Distillery/Bottler:

Emil Scheibel Schwarzwald-Brennerei GmbH makes EMILL Feinwerk in the historic Scheibel Mühle in Kappelrodeck. The distillery’s story began in this former grain mill; since 2014, whisky has been distilled there twice in hand-hammered copper stills with swan necks. The whisky matures on two floors of the mill, where winter cold, summer warmth and moisture from the Acher stream create different storage conditions.
